Who we are

Drey Studio is a web design and development studio operated by Damilare Olaniyi in Ibadan, Nigeria. For questions about this policy or a request concerning your personal information, email hello@dreystudio.ng.

Information we collect

• Enquiries and consultation bookings: information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, phone number, business or project details, preferred consultation information, and message.
• Blog comments: your name, email address, optional website address, and comment. If a comment is approved, your name, comment, and optional website link may appear publicly. Your email address is not displayed publicly.
• Analytics and technical information: our Google Analytics and Sabilytics tools help us understand visits and use of the site. These tools may process usage and technical information, such as pages visited, browser or device details, and referral information, and may use cookies or similar technologies.
• Saved comment details: if you select the option to save your name, email, and website for your next comment, those details are stored in local storage in your browser. You can clear them through your browser settings or submit a comment with the save option unchecked to remove them.

How we use information

We use the information you provide to respond to enquiries, arrange consultations, discuss or deliver requested services, review and moderate blog comments, publish approved comments, send comment notifications to the studio, protect the site from spam or misuse, and understand site performance so we can improve it.

Services that help us operate the site

We use Formspree to process contact and consultation form submissions and to send notifications about blog comments. Blog comment records are stored using Google Firebase Cloud Firestore. The database for blog comments is located in Johannesburg, South Africa. Google Analytics and Sabilytics provide site-usage analytics. Firebase Hosting serves the website and may process basic connection information, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and help protect the service. These providers process information to provide their services under their applicable terms and policies.

When we share information

We share information with the service providers listed above where needed to operate the site and respond to you. We may also disclose information if required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect our users, the studio, or the security of the website. We do not sell your personal information.

Comments and moderation

Comments are subject to review before publication. We may decline or remove comments that are spam, unlawful, abusive, misleading, or otherwise unsuitable for the discussion. Please do not include passwords, financial details, or other sensitive information in a comment.

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, manage a project or comment, maintain business records, protect the website, or meet legal obligations. Published comments may remain on the site until they are removed. Formspree and other providers may retain records under their own terms and the settings of our accounts.

Your choices and requests

You can ask us to provide access to, correct, or delete personal information you have sent us, or raise an objection or concern about how it is handled. Security and third-party links

We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no website or online transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Our website may link to third-party sites. Their content and privacy practices are governed by their own policies, which we encourage you to review.
